"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus..." Philippians 2:5

Paul does not merely command better behaviour; he commands a shared mind with Christ. The mind of Christ is humble, obedient, secure, servant-hearted, and surrendered. Many people want the power of Christ without the posture of Christ. But the life of Jesus flows through the mind of Jesus. Today, do not only ask Jesus to help your decisions; ask Him to reshape the thinking beneath your decisions. Let His mind become the pattern for your response.

Take 20 minutes to meditate on the mind of Christ. Ask: "Where do I need the thinking of Jesus to replace my natural reaction?"
