Esteem Others
Verse
"...in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself." Philippians 2:3
Teaching
Humility is not self-hatred. It is the freedom to stop placing yourself at the centre of every room. Paul says lowliness of mind esteems others because the humble heart is secure enough to honour. Pride competes even when it compliments. Insecurity withdraws even when it is needed. Humility serves without shrinking and honours without flattering. Today, practise seeing people through the value God has placed on them. Make room for someone else to rise.

Honour someone today without needing attention for yourself. Speak a sincere word of encouragement or make room for another person's gift.
