The Restored Soul

Verse

"He restores my soul." Psalm 23:3

Teaching

The Shepherd does more than maintain appearances; He restores the inner person. Disappointment, prolonged responsibility, grief, conflict, and hidden sin can drain the soul even when outward duties continue. Restoration begins when you stop pretending that depletion is strength. God invites you to bring the real condition of your heart into His presence. He may restore through Scripture, repentance, sleep, wise counsel, worship, friendship, or a needed change of pace. Let God show you what has been lost, neglected, or wounded, and cooperate with the steps through which He is rebuilding wholeness within you.

Quote

"Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit."
- King David (Psalm 51:12)

Instruction

Name the part of your inner life that feels most depleted. Ask God for restoration and take one practical step that supports healing.
