The Battle Is the Lord's
Verse
"Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD's." 1 Samuel 17:47
Teaching
David prepared, selected stones, and used his sling, yet he understood that victory did not originate in the weapon. Faithful action and divine dependence are not opposites. We do what God has placed before us while refusing to worship the method. The battle belongs to the Lord because the outcome must ultimately serve His purpose and reveal His glory. This truth releases us from carrying a weight that belongs to God. You are responsible for obedience, courage, integrity, and preparation. God remains responsible for what only He can accomplish.
Quote
"The battle is not yours, but God's."
- Jahaziel, speaking by the Spirit of the LORD (2 Chronicles 20:15)
Instruction
Separate your responsibility from God's responsibility. Write what you must faithfully do today, and consciously surrender the final outcome to Him.
