Live by Faith

Verse

"The just shall live by his faith." Habakkuk 2:4

Teaching

Faith is more than believing God for an occasional miracle. Scripture describes it as a way of living. To live by faith means that confidence in God continues to shape decisions even when visible evidence is incomplete. Faith does not deny facts; it refuses to make present facts greater than the character and Word of God. Habakkuk was surrounded by circumstances that could easily produce fear, yet God called him to a deeper foundation. Feelings change. Circumstances move. Human assurances fail. God remains. The person who lives by faith learns to ask, 'What would obedience look like if I truly believed God is faithful?' Faith then becomes visible in choices, patience, courage, generosity, integrity, and perseverance.

Quote

"Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."
- King David (Psalm 37:5)
