The Law of the Spirit of Life

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free..." Romans 8:2

Paul describes freedom as the operation of a new law. Sin and death had a pattern, a pull, and a predictability. But the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus introduces a higher power. Freedom is not merely wanting to change; freedom is receiving a new governing force. The law of gravity is real, but flight operates by higher principles. In the same way, old cycles may feel real, but the Spirit brings another authority. Today, do not negotiate with bondage. Walk under the higher law of the Spirit.
