Put On the Whole Armor
Verse
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
Teaching
Armour must be worn before war breaks out. Many believers wait until a crisis arrives before they become serious with God. But warfare rewards preparation. The enemy studies uncovered places. His strategy is not always force; sometimes it is subtlety, deception, fatigue, offence, or distraction. Today, do not leave your soul exposed. Put on what God has provided. As the wording shows, this is not your armour but God’s. God is a man of war (Ex 15:3), and has passed on to you tried-and-tested virtues that fit each of us perfectly. This same armour was on Christ and now on you! This is why you are described as being “... more than a conqueror"! (Rom 8:37)

Instruction
Identify one area where you have been spiritually uncovered: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, Scripture, or prayer. Make a choice from today to never neglect any item of your armour.
