Remember the Lord
Verse
"Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome." Nehemiah 4:14
Teaching
Fear narrows vision until opposition fills the whole horizon. Nehemiah restored courage by telling the people to remember the Lord. Memory is spiritual resistance. Recall His greatness, faithfulness, authority, and past intervention. The enemy may be visible, but God must become central in awareness. Remembering does not remove responsibility; it changes the spirit in which responsibility is carried. You do not face the challenge alone or as though the outcome rests entirely on human strength. Let the greatness of God become the atmosphere around the work.
