Look Straight Ahead
Verse
"Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you." Proverbs 4:25
Teaching
Focus protects direction. Constant comparison, distraction, temptation, and curiosity about other people's paths can pull the heart away from its assignment. Looking straight ahead does not mean ignoring people or refusing counsel. It means keeping God's purpose before you and refusing to be governed by every movement around you. The eyes often lead the imagination, and the imagination influences desire. Today, simplify your attention. You cannot faithfully walk every possible road. Keep looking toward what God has actually placed before you.

Instruction
Remove one avoidable distraction for the day. Give focused attention to the responsibility, relationship, or assignment directly in front of you.
