"...and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..." Romans 8:17

Paul moves from no condemnation to inheritance. The Spirit does not only rescue you from the past; He anchors you in the future. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. This does not remove suffering, but it changes its meaning. Suffering is not your final identity, and pressure is not your final portion. Glory belongs to the children of God. Today, review the journey of the week and stand in your inheritance. Live like someone whose future has already been secured in Christ.
