The Works of the Flesh
Verse
Now the works of the flesh are evident..." Galatians 5:19
Teaching
Paul calls the works of the flesh evident because the flesh always produces visible outcomes. It may hide its roots, but it cannot hide its fruit forever. Sexual sin, hatred, jealousy, selfish ambition, outbursts, envy, and division are not personality traits to protect; they are works to renounce. Grace is not permission to rename darkness. Today, let the Word examine you without defensiveness. Where the flesh has produced a work, bring it to the cross and break agreement with it.

Read Galatians 5:19-21 slowly. Ask the Lord to show you any visible work of the flesh that needs repentance, confession, and change.
