Seek First the Kingdom
Verse
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33
Teaching
Jesus answers worry by correcting priority. Anxiety makes provision the centre of life, but kingdom trust places the Father and His righteousness first. Seeking first does not mean neglecting responsibility; it means responsibility is carried under God's rule rather than fear. The Father knows what you need and calls you to faithful action without anxious obsession. Review the week by asking what has been first in your thoughts, schedule, spending, and decisions. Peace grows when the kingdom becomes the organising centre of life.
Quote
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
- Jesus Christ (Luke 12:32)
Instruction
Review your coming week. Put one kingdom priority into your diary before other demands fill the space, and surrender tomorrow's worries to God.
