Much Fruit and the Father’s Glory
Verse
“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” John 15:8
Teaching
Fruit is the Father’s glory made visible. God is not glorified by religious performance, but by lives that carry His nature into the earth. Also, note the difference between the fruit of the Spirit and your fruit. In discipleship culture, we learn that God ordained for every tree to bear fruit ‘after its own kind’. This means that true fruitfulness is about impacting people and making disciples. Fruit proves the connection with God. Fruit blesses others. Fruit carries a seed for multiplication. Jesus says fruitfulness is tied to discipleship; therefore, a disciple is not merely one who learns, but one whose life increasingly reveals the life of Christ and helps others do the same.t. Today, ask not only, “Am I busy?” Ask, “Is the Father being glorified through my influencing others in His name?”

Review the week. Write down signs of fruit God wants to grow in you: character, obedience, love, souls, service, generosity, wisdom, healing, leadership, or spiritual maturity. Commit to one visible act of fruitfulness today.
