Verse
Acts 8:35
“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.”
Teaching
Philip began with the passage before the traveller and preached Jesus. Faithful witness connects the person’s actual question to the good news of Christ. We are not called to advertise ourselves or win an argument but to help people encounter the Lord revealed in Scripture.
Quote
“The purpose of sharing truth is transformation, not winning applause.”
Instruction
Prepare a simple explanation of how one passage points to Jesus.
