“And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.”
Teaching
The traveller acknowledged his need for a guide. People may have serious spiritual questions without possessing the vocabulary to express them. A welcoming disciple makes it safe to ask, admit uncertainty and search the Scriptures together.
