Verse
"Distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality." Romans 12:13
Teaching
Love becomes visible when resources and space are opened to others. Paul speaks of sharing with believers in need and actively pursuing hospitality. Hospitality is broader than an impressive meal or a perfect home. It is the practice of making room through attention, welcome, food, transport, time, or practical support. Generosity begins by noticing. A need can remain unmet simply because everyone assumes someone else will respond. Ask what God has placed within your reach that could lighten another person's burden. A simple welcome offered with dignity can communicate that a person is seen, valued, and not alone.
Quote
"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels."
- The Writer of Hebrews (Hebrews 13:2)
Instruction
Invite, visit, feed, transport, or practically assist one person this week. Make the offer specific so they can respond easily.
