Goodness and Mercy

Verse

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life." Psalm 23:6

Teachings

David looks ahead with confidence because he knows the character of the Shepherd. Goodness supplies what is kind and right; mercy meets failure and need with compassion. They follow the believer not as fragile possibilities but as expressions of God's faithful covenant care. This does not mean every event will feel good. It means pain, delay, and uncertainty cannot cancel God's ability to work with goodness and mercy. Review the week by tracing where His care has already appeared. The Shepherd's faithful love goes with you.

Quote

"Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."
- The Psalmist (Psalm 107:1)

Instruction

Review the past seven days. Record one evidence of God's goodness and one evidence of His mercy, then share one testimony.
