Tell the Next Generation

Verse

“When your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’” Joshua 4:6

Teaching

The stones were not only for those who crossed the river; they were designed to provoke questions from those who came later. God’s faithfulness becomes part of spiritual inheritance when it is told. Testimony gives another generation language for trusting God. Do not assume those around you know what God has done in your life. Tell the story simply and give God the credit.

Quote

“One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.”
- King David (Psalm 145:4)

Instruction

Tell one younger person, family member, or friend about a specific time God helped you and explain what you learned from it.
